CASE STUDY:
MASONRY COSMETICS WEBSITE OVERHAUL
BACKGROUND
Masonry Cosmetics used an outsourced web developer for years to managed their web presence and websites. Along with the fact that there were six websites owned that convoluted messaging and online presence, I found the main website to be underdeveloped and not user-friendly. After months of research and presenting my case, I was able to convince owners that combining the sites, and creating a brand new website from scratch with clear goals was the best step moving forward.
CHALLENGES
Combining messaging from six websites onto one "super-site" took much finesse in mapping and organizing. Researching competitors, best practices and top keywords was also time-consuming.
VISION
The best way to showcase brick staining jobs is showing before and after pictures - a process that was not utilized previously. Showing drastic color differences for the "wow" factor was of great importance when building the site. Red and white were shown often for a heavy contrast with a powerful, confident feel. Abstract textures were also used to inspire innovation and modernization.
